Oakdale Community Hospital, an affiliate of HCA, is a 60-bed general
hospital serving Allen Parish and the surrounding communities. The
facility is equipped with a 24-hour emergency room, a three-bed ICU unit,
a two-room operating suite, and a two-room isolation unit. There is an
active medical staff of ten physicians; four consulting physicians, and
thirteen physicians with courtesy status.
Oakdale Community Hospital is connected to the tertiary care of Rapides
Regional Medical Center, of Alexandria, through their affiliation with
Rapides Healthcare System.
